Daily Itinerary
10.00 – 12.00pm Depart BEC Luxury Lodge and be guided by a local food expert visiting local artisan producers to pick up various ingredients for today’s lunch. We may not have time to visit all the producers but some of the places we may visit include an olive oil producer, a hydroponic salad and herb farm, a biodynamic vineyard, an organic nut farm, local boutique chocolate factory and local honey apiary. Some seasonal variation will occur as produce is available.
12.00 – 3.00pm Enjoy an interactive cooking demonstration with BEC Proprietors and chefs Dave and Sarah Anderson as they show you a few insightful tips and tricks as you prepare the lunch banquet. Here you will also get to sample some local produce from the outer regions which may include local cheese, local premium small goods, local salmon and Marlborough ‘Greenshell’ mussels. Lunch will served with a glass of Marlborough wine and you will be given copies of the day’s recipes as well as a Marlborough gourmet gift.

BEC Marlborough on the Menu Degustation Dinner Experience
7.30 – 10.00pm Arrive at the great room for some pre-dinner canapés and a glass of local bubbly. Enjoy meeting your other dinner guests, take in the art and relax by the fire. Your hosts for the evening are BEC proprietors and foodies Dave & Sarah Anderson. The meal will be prepared in the theatre style kitchen, feel free to observe and ask as many questions as you wish. Dave and Sarah have forged their credentials at a number of top dining establishments and bring a combined passion for technical flair and great flavour to your dining experience. Each course will be served with matching Marlborough wine and when the wine moves from white to red you will be served with a complimentary sorbet to cleanse the palate. All the components of your dinner will have been made on site using as many local Marlborough ingredients as possible. The dining experience will be concluded with a night cap of your choice and you can chose to continue enjoying the company of your fellow dining guests in the ambiance of the great room with a selection from the BEC cellar.
